A relatively young Swiss watch-making brand, launched in 1992, Bell & Ross, is owned by two French designers- Carlos A. Rosillo and Bruno Belamich, and the first timepieces they’ve created, was designed to meet thee needs of men who must face extreme situations like, bomb-disposal experts, professional divers, pilots and even astronauts, and their watches are built to become valuable tools in their challenging missions. Meeting the highest standards of quality and sophistication, Bell & Ross outstands by creating unique watches manufactured from very sophisticated materials.
Bell & Ross released many ceramic timepieces, some models including diamond embellishments, but BRS watches which were recently introduced by the brand are defined by a rather smaller size and a clean, high-end refinement which suits any gentleman’s wrist, but not only, as it can perfectly be used by women.
Measuring 39 mm in diameter, the stainless steel square-shaped, ceramic-coated case, retains the clean white Bell& Ross look which gives the watch a pure and unmistakable glow. In spite of the well known lightweight of ceramic this material is extremely durable, providing perfect protection to hand wound BRS movement that animates the watch.
The white ceramic case is highlighted by the round, stainless steel bezel, which is fitted with 4 titanium screws, that give the timepiece a particular sense of individuality, as another distinctive design feature we can mention the matching white nylon bracelet.
The white dial has oversized Arabic numerals markers at 9, 12 and 3 o’clock positions; also, it features luminescent coated hour hands and hour markers. Located at 6 o’clock position there’s an additional second counter.
This timepiece belongs to a collection which includes other models in pink gold or black ceramic case or another, more luxurious version which includes a diamond-set bezel offering a beautiful glow against the smooth ceramic look. Due to their delicate dimensions, the watches are truly unisex pieces which come with a price tag, ranging from $3,000 up to $15,000, depending on the materials used and diamond adorning.
