Paris Europlace Financial Forum--

Leaders representing the top financial institutions in the US and France will gather at Le Parker Meridien Hotel on April 30, 2001, as part of the 4th Annual Paris Europlace Financial Forum, to discuss pressing issues regarding investment strategies in the Euro zone.

The 2001 Forum, titled "The Euro Zone: New Opportunities and Practical Investment Strategies," is organized in partnership with Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, SG Cowen, CLSE-Small Caps, Euronext, Paris-Ile de France Capitale Economique and Constantin & Associes.

France's Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, Laurent Fabius, will host the meeting's luncheoRaymond Weil Watchn and offer a keynote address.

Coming on the heels of the G-7 meeting in Washington, DC, the Paris Europlace Financial Forum is designed to evaluate challenges, implications and opportunities regarding new and changing policies that have a bearing on US investment strategies in the Euro zone.

The 2001 Forum is a one-day event that will include two general plenary sessions in the morning and several detailed workshops in the afternoon. The first special panel discussion will focus on Investment Strategies in Euroland, and will include Putnam Investments, Oppenheimer Funds, SG Asset Management (SGAM) and Spanish uniformAXA Investment. The second panel discussion, will focus on Corporate Governance in France with the participation of Bill Crist of CalPERS, Jean-Rene Fourtou of Aventis, Serge Weinberg of PPR, and Marc Vienot, Chairman of Paris EUROPLACE, Chairman of the French Corporate Governance Committee.
